“Against government and military power, speech basket is never enough.”
A basket of speech means to influence people by different kinds of speakings.
Talk is vital.
Laws are passed in parliament through speech, laws are enforced in courts through speech, heads of government of different countries express their opinions in the United Nations General Assembly through speech.
However, speech also has limitations.
A basket of speech is of little use against it, especially when government and military forces are combined.
If anything sticks in the work, it is a way of venting the anxiety of the people concerned—nothing else.
Yes, if people don't understand, then a basket of speech is temporarily a lot of work.
But if the people understand that, the people will be misled through the basket of speech. Then the profit will be looted by the concerned people_so then the basket of speech does not work.
It is very difficult to incite the people with a basket of speech, especially against the government and the military.
If the people understand that, those who have been in power for a long time will give something to the people even if they are bored.
But those who have been out of power for many years_if they can once come into power, will pounce on the people like Yajuz Majuj or Kumbhakarna Rakshasa.
For them, not only the political opponents_the common people are also insecure.
If the people understand this, then even the basket of speech will not work.
Basket of speech on the Internet.
In today's world, people's freedom of expression has been accelerated by the readily available internet. Especially, through Facebook and YouTube.
But when people are misled in the name of expression, it becomes misinformation in the name of expression.
S/he moved from his country to another country. Stayed abroad and misled the people of s/his country through the Internet. Then it is limited to the basket of speech. It is not very effective in reality.
Basket of speech in literature.
Literature is the basket of speech. People grow in life by studying this basket of speech. The laws of different countries are passed, the judiciary is running. Be it the literature of law or the literature of stories.
But a basket of literary speech does not work against government or military power.
Rabindranath Tagore never said to the British government, “Here, I have written Gitanjali. Read this Gitanjali of mine and leave India.”

Moreover, in reality, I never say to anyone, “I write on the Internet.”
Rather, I do not say anywhere in my area or workplace that, I publish my writings on the Internet.

“সরকারি ও সামরিক ক্ষমতার বিরুদ্ধে কথার ঝুড়ি কখনই যথেষ্ট না।”
কথার ঝুড়ি মানে, বিভিন্ন ধরনের কথা বলে জনগণকে প্রভাবিত করা।
কথা অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়।
কথার মাধ্যমেই সংসদে আইন পাস হয়,কথার মাধ্যমেই আদালতে আইন কার্যকর হয়,কথার মাধ্যমেই জাতিসংঘের সাধারণ পরিষদে বিভিন্ন দেশের সরকার প্রধানগণ নিজেদের মতামত ব্যক্ত করেন।
এরপরও কথারও রয়েছে সীমাবদ্ধতা।
বিশেষ করে যখন সরকারি ও সামরিক শক্তি একজোট হয়_তখন এর বিরুদ্ধে কথার ঝুড়ি তেমন কাজে লাগে না।
যদি কাজের মধ্যে কিছু লেগেও থাকে, সেটা হচ্ছে সংশ্লিষ্ট ব্যক্তিদের মনের ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করার একটা উপায়_এছাড়া অন্য কিছু না।
হ্যাঁ,জনগণ যদি না বুঝে,তাহলে কথার ঝুড়িতে সাময়িকভাবে অনেক কাজ হয়।
কিন্তু জনগণ যদি বুঝতে পারে যে,কথার ঝুড়ির মাধ্যমে জনগণকে ভুলানো হবে। এরপর ফায়দা লুটে নেবে সংশ্লিষ্ট লোকেরা_তাহলে তখন কথার ঝুড়িতে কোন কাজ হয় না।
বিশেষ করে সরকার ও সামরিক শক্তির বিরুদ্ধে কথার ঝুড়ির মাধ্যমে জনগণকে লেলিয়ে দেয়াটা অনেক কঠিন ব্যাপার।
যদি জনগণ এটা বুঝতে পারেন যে, দীর্ঘদিন যিনিরা ক্ষমতায় আছেন_তিনিরা খাইতে খাইতে একঘেয়ে হয়ে হলেও জনগণকে কিছু দেবেন।
কিন্তু যিনিরা ক্ষমতা থেকে অনেক বছর ধরে দূরে আছেন_তিনিরা যদি একবার ক্ষমতায় আসতে পারেন,তাহলে ইয়াজুজ মাজুজ অথবা কুম্ভকর্ণ রাক্ষসের মতো জনগণের উপর ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়বেন।
তিনিদের কাছে রাজনৈতিক প্রতিপক্ষ তো বটেই_সাধারন জনগণও অনিরাপদ।
এটা জনগণ বুঝলে,তখন কথার ঝুড়িতেও কাজ হয় না।
ইন্টারনেটে কথার ঝুড়ি।
বর্তমান বিশ্বে সহজলভ্য ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমে মানুষের মত প্রকাশের স্বাধীনতাকে গতিশীল করেছে। বিশেষ করে ফেসবুক ও ইউটিউবের মাধ্যমে।
কিন্তু মত প্রকাশের নামে যখন জনগণকে বিভ্রান্ত করা হয়,তখন সেটা মত প্রকাশের নামে বিভ্রান্তি ছড়ানো হয়ে যায়।
নিজদেশ থেকে অন্যদেশে চলে গেলো।ভিনদেশে অবস্থান করে ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমে নিজদেশের মানুষকে বিভ্রান্ত করল।তখন সেটা কথার ঝুড়িতেই সীমাবদ্ধ থাকে।বাস্তবে তেমন কার্যকর হয় না।
সাহিত্যে কথার ঝুড়ি।
সাহিত্য মানেই কথার ঝুড়ি।এই কথার ঝুড়ি অধ্যয়ন করেই মানুষ জীবনে বড় হয়। বিভিন্ন দেশের আইন পাস হয়,বিচার বিভাগ চলে।সেটা আইনের সাহিত্যই হোক অথবা গল্পের সাহিত্যই হোক।
কিন্তু সরকার অথবা সামরিক শক্তির বিরুদ্ধে সাহিত্যের কথার ঝুড়িও চলে না।
ব্রিটিশ সরকারকে রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর কখনো বলেননি,“এই যে,আমি গীতাঞ্জলি লিখেছি।আমার এই গীতাঞ্জলি পড়ো এবং ভারত ছেড়ে চলে যাও।”
জর্জ বানার্ড শ_ও কখনো বলেননি,“এই যে,আমি ‘ম্যান এন্ড সুপারম্যান’ লিখেছি।এখন আমাকে ইংল্যান্ডের প্রধানমন্ত্রী বানিয়ে দাও।”
তেমনি বাস্তবে আমিও কখনো কারোর কাছ আগ বাড়িয়ে বলিনা যে,“আমি ইন্টারনেটে লিখি।”
বরং ইন্টারনেটে আমার লেখালেখির বিষয়টা আমার নিজ এলাকায় অথবা কর্মক্ষেত্রে কোথাও আমি প্রকাশ করিনা।
ফলে আমার লেখালেখির বিষয়টা ইন্টারনেটে প্রকাশিত হলেও বাস্তবে কোন সমস্যা হয় না। ©️All Right Reserved by Junayed Ashrafur Rahman
