আমরা জানি যে, সাহিত্য হচ্ছে সব ধরণের চিন্তা-ভাবনা প্রকাশের অন্যতম মাধ্যম ।
তেমনি রাজনৈতিক চিন্তা-ভাবনা প্রকাশের উত্তম উপায় হচ্ছে সাহিত্য।
সাধারন মানুষের কাছে রাজনৈতিক মতাদর্শ কোন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় না হলেও, উচ্চ শ্রেণির রাজনীতিকদের কাছে রাজনৈতিক মতাদর্শ অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়।
আর ঐসব উচ্চ শ্রেণির রাজনীতিকদের জন্য রাজনৈতিক দার্শনিকগণ লেখা-লেখির মাধ্যমে তাঁদের চিন্তা-ভাবনা প্রকাশ করেন।
