In order to be in power, just as you need qualifications, you also need energy to stay in power.

It is possible to gain power by any means, but power is needed to stay in power.

Be careful not to let anyone else take power, keep yourself more active than your rivals, etc. It is a matter of power struggle.

And in the race for power, self-interest is often more important than justice - though it is not good. 

So in a power struggle, one becomes more powerful than surviving, while another loses power by not being able to survive.

"ক্ষমতায় টিকে থাকতে এবং ক্ষমতার প্রতিযোগিতায় জিততে হলে যোগ্যতার চেয়ে শক্তি বেশি প্রয়োজন।"

ক্ষমতাবান হতে হলে যোগ্যতার যেমন প্রয়োজন, তেমনি ক্ষমতায় টিকে থাকতে শক্তিরও প্রয়োজন।

যে কোন উপায়ে ক্ষমতা অর্জন করা সম্ভব হলেও ক্ষমতায় টিকে থাকতে হলে শক্তির প্রয়োজন।

অন্য কেউ যেন ক্ষমতা নিয়ে নিতে না পারে সেজন্য সতর্ক থাকা, প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বীদের চেয়ে নিজেকে বেশি সক্রিয় রাখা প্রভৃতি হচ্ছে ক্ষমতার প্রতিযোগিতার বিষয়।

এবং ক্ষমতার প্রতিযোগিতায় অনেক সময় ন্যায় - অন্যায়ের চেয়ে নিজের স্বার্থকে বেশি গুরুত্ব দেয়া হয় - যদিও এটা ভালো না।
