 By arresting Aung San Suu Kyi, Myanmar's military has again completely seized state power.

 So Aung San Suu Kyi's supporters are protesting.

 But regional rebels in various parts of Myanmar are also escalating the violence.

 But it is doing so as part of their separatist activities, never for democracy or Aung San Suu Kyi.

 They are already waging such a revolt to seize power illegally and separate Myanmar.

 And now the democratic movement has become a little more apathetic to the opportunity.

 On the contrary, if those rebels seize power, they will be more terrible than the current army rulers.

"যদিও মিয়ানমারের গণতন্ত্র সেনাবাহিনীর দ্বারা অবরুদ্ধ, কিন্তু বিদ্রোহীরা অগণতান্ত্রিকভাবে ক্ষমতা দখলের অপচেষ্টায় লিপ্ত।"

অং সান সু চিকে গ্রেফতার করে মিয়ানমারের সেনাবাহিনী আবার সম্পূর্ণভাবে রাষ্ট্রীয় ক্ষমতা কুক্ষিগত করেছে। 

তাই অং সান সু চির সমর্থকরা আন্দোলন করছে। 

কিন্তু মিয়ানমারের বিভিন্ন প্রদেশের আঞ্চলিক বিদ্রোহীরাও সহিংসতা আরো বৃদ্ধি করছে। 

তবে এটা করছে ওদের বিচ্ছিন্নতাবাদী কর্মকাণ্ডের অংশ হিসেবে, কখনই গণতন্ত্র অথবা অং সান সুচির জন্য না। 

ওরা এমন বিদ্রোহ আরো আগে থেকেই করছে অবৈধভাবে ক্ষমতা দখল আর মিয়ানমারকে আলাদা করতে। 

আর এখন গণতান্ত্রিক আন্দোলনের সুযোগে একটু বেশি অপতৎপর হয়েছে। 

বরং ঐ বিদ্রোহীরা ক্ষমতা দখল করলে বর্তমান সেনা শাসকদের চেয়ে বেশি ভয়ঙ্কর হবে। 

তাই ঐ বিদ্রোহীদেরকে গণতন্ত্রের আন্দোলনকারী হিসেবে প্রচার করা কখনই উচিৎ হবে না। © All Right Reserved Junayed Ashrafur Rahman
