Because of various injustice, the people of east Pakistan (president Bangladesh) had to opposing against the government of west Pakistan.

For this reason, the people of east Pakistan combined to gain their authorities.

But, the government of west Pakistan never give the authorities to the people of east Pakistan. 

This is why, political leaders of east Pakistan arrange political an assembly at racecourse (present :- Suhrawardy Udyan) in Dacca (Dhaka) to gain their own political authorities. 

But to expose the own authorities, there was needed a brave leader for speaking against the government of west Pakistan. 

For this reason, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman chosen by Mr. Tofail Ahmed, Mr. A. S. M. Abdur Rab and other leaders. 

As the result, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman spoken, our this fight for the freedom. 
Make our own home as the fort. 
Prepare according to our abilities. 
We have given blood — will give more blood. 
We will free our country if Allah wants (Insha Allah)....... 

Most of the people of east Pakistan were inspired by the speaking of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. 

For this reason, all kinds of the peoples of east Pakistan started doing war against the west Pakistani government. 

In fact, that speaking was the leading speaking for the freedom of east Pakistan (present Bangladesh). 

Today, with the respect, we remember them — those who attended that assemble.

পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানের শাসকদের অত্যাচার ও অবিচারের কারণে তৎকালীন পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের (বর্তমান বাংলাদেশ) জনগণ একটা স্বাধীন দেশ চেয়েছিলেন।

তাই বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের নেতৃত্বে ঢাকার রেসকোর্সে এক মহা সমাবেশের আয়োজন করেছিলেন।

সেই মহা সমাবেশে বঙ্গবন্ধু স্বাধীনতার ঘোষণা করেছিলেন।
আর সেই ঘোষণায় সর্বস্তরের জনগণ উৎসাহিত হয়ে পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানের গভমেন্টের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধে অংশ গ্রহণ করেছিলেন।

আজ শ্রদ্ধার সঙ্গে তিনিদের স্মরণ করি , যিনিরা সেই মহা সমাবেশে অংশ গ্রহণ করেছিলেন।
